It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..

Because we will be leaving for Branson tomorrow, we put our Christmas tree and decorations up yesterday. Maggie hung most of the ornaments on both the big tree and the little tree for her room. Last year Christmas was new to her. This year she is really getting in the spirit. What a wonderful time of the year!!

On Saturday we went to the Creative Discovery Museum for a birthday party for Cole, one of Maggie's classmates. She had fun playing with all the kids and going through the museum with Savina Rose and Emma. It was great seeing her interact with her classmates as we don't get to see her do so at school. She had a great time!

Princess Soft Breeze

Maggie's Thanksgiving program at school was held today and yesterday (because she is in the 5 day preschool class, most things her class does is done twice to accommodate the 2 day and 3 day classes). They sang alot of Thansgiving songs and dressed up as Pilgrims and Indians. Maggie was an Indian for the day and was called "Princess Soft Breeze". She did GREAT! She sang and participated in all songs and looked so adorable. I was able to attend on Wednesday and Barbara and her mom and aunt attended today. They all had a great time. We have ordered a CD of video and pictures from the program. If I am able to upload any video on here, I will be sure to do so.

On Tuesday we are heading to Branson, Missouri to spend Thanksgiving with Barbara's family. It will be alot of fun.

Soccer

Today was Maggie's last soccer game, a make up for Halloween's rainout game. After their game yesterday, there was an end of the year party at the soccer fields which included pizza and inflatables. Maggie and Mia had a great time playing! We had a lot of fun playing soccer and look forward to next year.

Halloween

Maggie woke up on Saturday with a fever. We took her to the doctor and she had a sinus infection. We then proceeded to pick up her antibiotic (the 3rd since the middle of September). The good news was that as long as she felt okay, she could go trick or treating. As soon as we got to the doctor's office, she was doing fine and did great the whole day. So...she was able to go trick or treating and we took her to just a few houses in our neighborhood. It was cold and began raining and she was ready to come home. I am glad she was able to trick or treat. My mom and Barbara's mom and aunt came over on Saturday as well and handed out candy while we trick or treated and stayed for dinner and the football game (Go VOLS!). Yesterday she had a fever again so Barbara stayed home with her today. She didn't run a fever and is doing well so will be going to school tomorrow. Maggie was able to wear her Minnie Mouse costume to school on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. She had parades at school on Thursday and Friday and had her Halloween on Friday. We also went on her first field trip to a local farm last Wednesday. We took a hay ride, picked out a pumpkin, and got a fresh egg from one of the hens. She had a great time! On the soccer front - two more rain outs over the weekend, which for us is fine, because Maggie wouldn't have been able to play. I'm not sure when or if they'll be able to make them up as this Saturday's game is the last on the schedule.
